One of the best ways to get a nice glow to your skin is to use a tinted moisturizer. Both Michelle and I have dry skin, but we live in Utah so what do we expect. So one of our favorite tricks is a tinted moisturizer. One of my favorite and easy looks is to put on tinted moisturizer, throw on a little bronzer and blush, and top it of with some lip gloss.  Easy as that.  Here are mine and Michelle’s top five favorite tinted moisturizers.

1. Bobbi Brown ‘Extra’ SPF 25 Tinted Moisturizing Balm.  This tinted moisturizer is great cause it gives you really good coverage, but feels light and is super moisturizing! It gives the skin a ultra dewy look and comes in 8 different shades. It is really good for dry skin. It is a little more on the pricey side, but it is totally worth every penny. Price: $54

2. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra Light Perfecting Makeup.  This is super light and feels like you are wearing nothing. It only has an SPF15 but it so perfect if you just want something that feel like you are wearing nothing. This was actually the winner of Allure Magazine “Best of Beauty” award for light weight coverage in 2013. Comes in 10 Shades!  Price: $45

3. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF20. So to me this is the most talked about tinted moisturizer that I have ever heard about!  I worked in the cosmetic department at Nordstrom a few years ago and Michelle works there right now, and we both agree that this is one of the most sold items in the whole department.  It is sheer and lightweight but gives you enough coverage that you can use this in place of foundation. Comes in 15 Shades! Price: $43

4. Bare Minerals Advanced Protection Tinted Moisturizer.  This comes in two different formulas. One for normal to dry skin or one for combination skin types. It only comes in one shade, but it blends in really well that it actually works for all shades of skin. I like how this moisturizer gives a nice healthy glow to the skin while giving tons of nutrients with the Active Soil Complex in it! Price: $30

5. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer SPF20This tinted moisturizer is good for dry or oily skin. It gives a really fresh glow to the the skin and has Retinol treatment in it. This can be found at any drugstore and is really good for the value! Price: $10.97

If you are in a time crunch but you need to get a workout in, this will for sure get your heart rate up and give you the summer body you are working for.   Do 15 reps and 3 sets of each exercise. You may notice that two of the exercises are repeated, do those in that sequence. One step closer to your summer body! Happy Monday XOXO Chelle&SaraJane

We loved this wearable , yet still edgy look that hit the Marc Jacobs runways for summer 2014. You could totally rock this look for a casual date with friends, or spice it up with a date night out. Throw on some fun earrings, layer a few necklaces, a sleek little dress and this will turn heads!

It takes a whole 15 min to create this look. Here’s how it’s done:

  1. Find the side where you typically would part your hair. Try lining it up with the very outside of your brow first. If that feels like it’s just too much, go a little closer in and line up with the arch of your brow. This could potentially feel a little uncomfortable at first if you’re not used parting so far over. Don’t be afraid to take a blowdryer to it to get it to behave!
  2. Use the finer side of a comb + some strong holding hairspray to make the side tight. Don’t over spray, you just want the hair close the head and the fly-aways to stay down. If you really wanted to go for a sleek side, you could gel it and give it that appearance which feels equally edgy + girly.
  3. That’s it! Now you’re free to create whatever texture you want on the heavier side– smooth waves, messy waves, curl, straight, anything you like. Personally I like the messy waves with a little volume but you really can do this using any natural texture.
